These are some guidelines I will use in 2005 to help me deplete the amount of WIPs and stash I have. The wonderful thing about guidelines? They can be changed!

Keep only 6 items in my rotation.

Stitch one right after the other, in the order they're listed, until finished or I tire of the design, before moving on to the next one.

Continue to track time.

Wait until the end of the rotation to decide which designs will replace any completed designs.

When it's time to add a new design from the StRIP list be honest about whether or not I love it enough to invest the time to stitch it or the money to have it framed (or finished in another manner). If not, then retire it and move on.

Continue to only start a completely, brand new, never had a stitch in it item, only when 3 items from my StRIP list have been completed.

When a quick fix is needed stitch an ornament.

It's my hobby and it's fun. When this doesn't work, change.

Disclaimer: I'm a list maker. I just can't help myself. I guess it's another hobby! If you come back tomorrow this could very well all be different!
